Welcome to the BGCU System Upgrade Information Hub

This fall, we're thrilled to announce a significant upgrade to our systems, designed to enhance your experience as a Badger-Globe Credit Union member. These improvements are crucial to ensuring our services continue to run smoothly and securely. As we prepare for this upgrade, we want to keep you informed about important dates and how these changes might affect you.

Important Dates to Remember

[Please note the importance of these dates as they will directly impact your access to BGCU services.]

  • Monday, September 30, 2024:

    • BART (Badger-Globe Audio Response Teller) will be discontinued after this date.

    • Moving forward, please use online banking or contact us directly to perform transactions instead of using BART.

  • Tuesday, October 1, and Wednesday, October 2, 2024 (Until Noon):

    • BGCU will be closed for business while we complete our system conversion.

    • This closure will affect several key services, as detailed below.

What’s Changing and How It May Affect You

    • Temporary Inaccessibility: Our online banking platform and mobile app will be unavailable from September 30 through October 2. However, phone inquiries and transfers will still be available on these days.

    • Action Required: Complete any necessary transactions before September 30.

    • Potential Delays: There may be delays with automatic payments and direct deposits on October 1 and 2, with all transactions processed by the end of October 2.

    • Action Required: Please plan accordingly for any direct deposits or scheduled payments.

    • Functionality with Limitations: ATM and debit cards will continue to function as usual, with no changes to daily limits. However, international transactions will be unavailable during the conversion.

    • Action Required: Make sure you have sufficient cash on hand in case you need more than your daily limit allows.

    • Temporary Suspension: Bill Pay will be temporarily inaccessible for up to a week before the conversion. Payments submitted by September 20 will still be processed as expected.

    • Action Required: Submit any urgent bill payments by September 20 to avoid delays. Look out for additional communications regarding Bill Pay services and cutoff dates.

    • Temporary Unavailability: Shared Branching services will be unavailable on September 30 for BGCU members visiting other credit unions, as well as for shared branchers using BGCU. Services will resume on October 2.

    • Action Required: Plan ahead if you rely on shared branching services during this time.

    • Change in Payment Processing: Starting October 1, monthly payments on BGCU line of credit loans (such as HELOC and Kwik Cash) must include both principal and interest. “Principal only” payments will no longer advance the loan’s due date.

    • Action Required: : Ensure regular payments reflect both principal and interest.

    • Ensuring Communication: We’re contacting members with invalid email addresses to make sure everything is up-to-date before the system upgrade.

    • Action Required: Verify your email address by October 1 to ensure uninterrupted communications and access to e-statements.

    • All 9/30 quarterly statements will be printed and mailed to members in October. Statement processing may be delayed. Access to statement history through online banking may be disrupted by the conversion.

    • Action: Download statement history in online banking before 9/30 to archive past statements on your personal device.

Stay Informed
Keep an eye on your email, our website, and mail for upcoming BGCU communications, including specific details on cutoff dates and times.

Update Your Email
Make sure your email address is current to receive all critical updates.

Plan Transactions Ahead
Schedule necessary transactions before October 1 to avoid any service disruptions.

Prepare for Limited Access
Have cash on hand and be aware of the temporary service disruptions.
